SUMMARY: John Hughes, the owner and chief instructor at John Hughes Golf, is a prominent member of the North Florida chapter of the PGA. At the beginning of 2023, the North Florida PGA named John Hughes the Teacher-Coach of the Year for both the East Central chapter and the entire North Florida section. This award is a significant recognition of John’s teaching expertise and the value that he brings to his coaching activities, and it highlights the opportunity that aspiring golfers at all levels have to improve their personal game when they work with John in the Orlando, Florida area. These include the Professional Development Award, Player of the Year, and Teacher/Coach of the Year, among many others. As a longstanding member and honorary president of the NFPGA, John Hughes is proud to be an integral part of many of the association’s activities in the region.
