John Hughes Golf is proud to announce the addition of Jacob Glassmeyer to our coaching team. Jacob is a long-time friend of John’s and the owner of Glassmeyer Health and Wellness in Davenport, Florida. With the addition of Jacob, John Hughes Golf now provides Florida Golf School and Orlando Golf Lesson clients the opportunity to incorporate golf specific movement and performance techniques into their golf skill improvement programs. Jacob Glassmeyer is an accomplished and award winning fitness coach. He has over 25 years of experience coaching golfers of all skill levels. Jacob was recently been named as one of the country’s best golf fitness coaches and innovators by Golf Fitness Association of America. Glassmeyer previously served as a Dynamic Golf Performance Specialist for the Leadbetter Golf Academy and as a professor at the Professional Golfers Career College. Jacob is a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer and an International Fitness Professionals Association certified golf conditioning coach. In addition, Glassmeyer is the creator of AdventHealth’s Golf Fitness Program. A highly accomplished martial arts coach, Jacob Glassmeyer coaches many disciplines of martial arts and specializes in Taichi. He is a 3rd degree black belt in TaeKwonDo. Jacob is a Gold and Bronze Medalist in the International Chinese Martial Arts Competition. Glassmeyer Health and Wellness is a mobile fitness practice, visiting many locations in the Central Florida area weekly.
