Matt Dauss, PGA Associate Professional

Operation 36 Coach, Orlando Golf Lesson Instructor

Matt Dauss is a PGA Associate and the newest member of the John Hughes Golf staff of Golf Instructors.  Originally from Anderson, Indiana, Matt’s 8+ years of coaching golf serves John Hughes Golf as Lead Golf Instructor for Operation 36 Beginner Golf programs and provides Orlando Golf Lessons to guests of Falcon’s Fire Golf Club.

Matt fell in love with golf at an early age and became competitive quickly, winning many tournaments as a junior golfer.  In addition, he was a 3-time Letterman of his high school golf team. As a golf team member at Concordia University, Matt began to study golf swing mechanics.  Matt’s study of the golf swing lead him to assisting others on the team with their golf swings.  Doing so, Matt quickly realized his career calling is being a golf instructor.

When not coaching an Operation 36 Junior or Adult program, or providing golf lessons in Orlando at Falcon’s Fire Golf Club, you can find Matt enjoying his other passion, bowling.  Matt is an accomplished competitive bowler, rolling 6 perfect games of “300” during tournament play.
