What a year 2024 has been for John Hughes Golf! And I can’t believe I’m penning another Thanksgiving blog post. The Thanksgiving 2024 edition of saying a genuine “Thank You!” to the those who play a part in the success of my brand, features many old faces. But a lot of new ones too.
Every year, I make it a point to say thank you at the beginning of the holiday season. Thank you for assisting! Thank you for entrusting me! Thank you for the opportunity! Thanksgiving Day I personally believe is a day we must genuinely say thank you to all who contribute to your life, your business, your pleasure, your fun, your success. Thanksgiving is our country’s only non secular holiday. And sometimes gets lost in the commercialism that makes the holiday season for some seem like a never ending advertisement. I charge and challenge you, today, to thank those individuals who make a difference in your life. You may not do so often enough. But today is the day set aside to do so.
Genuinely, enthusiastically, and with passion, you should be thanking these people daily. But sometimes “life” gets in the way. I know when someone thanks me, a warm fuzzy feeling fires me from within, producing a smile in return. Today, create that warm fuzzy feeling inside of you as you create smiles all day long. Saying “thank you” has a positive impact for those you give thanks to. But an even deeper and fulfilled positive impact for you, inside to out.
Realize that positive impact today. Say thank you, in a genuine way, to the people in your life that enjoy your smile. And you enjoy theirs.
Please join me this Thanksgiving 2024, as I thank those I surround myself with. These people contribute to everyone’s enjoyment and improvement. Whether behind the scenes, or in front with me.
Thank You John Hughes Golf Team!
Our Clients!
At the top of the thank you pyramid is our clients. The golfers who put faith and trust in me to help them achieve what they think they can achieve, and beyond. It is worth repeating over and over again. Without your trust in me, none of this would be possible! Thank You! Thank you for your support and trust. Your willingness to go beyond your comfort zone to improve your golf skills! Thanks for doing the same with my immediate staff. And with our location partners. You are the life blood of our existence. YOU and your commitment to be the best golfer you can be is why we get up every day. Thank You! I hope your Thanksgiving 2024 is a time of reflection of what you can achieve when you believe in yourself. And the warm fuzzy feeling you get when you compress the golf ball. Share this feeling with others today as a warm embrace, for many days to come.
Our Coaching Staff
Gibby Gilbert III
I met Gibby in 2023 at McLemore. I was in need of a 3rd instructor for a group golf school. Gibby showed interest in being that 3rd coach, and began a series of coaching opportunities with me the past 2 years. Like his dad, Gibby is an accomplished professional player. And traveled with his dad during his formidable years. Experiencing world class coaching, from the world’s best. In his own special way, Gibby shares the stories, the wisdom, and the lessons taught to him, with all the clients he touches. The bad news is Gibby is moving away from the Chattanooga area, a place he’s called home for most of his life. The good news is Gibby is moving to the Orlando area, to be closer to his grand children. And will begin to serve clients through the JHG brand the first of the year at Omni ChampionsGate Resort, with me!. I’m really looking forward to Gibby playing an even bigger role in my brand’s success. And I am sure our clients will truly enjoy the passion Gibby brings to each coaching session. Keep en eye out for more information about Gibby as we get closer to the new year. For Thanksgiving 2024, I say thank you Gibby for your contagious smile and outlook towards golf! I’m looking forward to you becoming an integral part of the JHG brand in the future.
Shane Rhodes
I was introduced to Shane in 2022 when I first visited McLemore. Shane was fairly new to his position there. And he reminded me a lot of myself at the same age, eager to teach, eager to assist, and not so eager to fold shirts in the pro shop. He watched me coach that year, and asked enough questions to fill many ears, not just mine. I encouraged Shane to keep his inquisitiveness going, and allow the art and science of coaching golf to more organically fill his mind and his role at McLemore. And so he has. Now the Lead Instructor at McLemore, Shane assists me with all group coaching programs as well as fills in with individual clients when I’m already scheduled with another. Shane has a bright future ahead of him as a golf coach. And I am proud to call him a friend, and someone I have learned from. I hope 2025 brings more opportunities for us to coach beside each other. And look forward to assisting him with reaching his potential as a golf coach. Thanksgiving 2024, I say thank you to Shane for the way you’ve served my clients loyally and willingly. And look forward to more of the same in 2025.
Jay Davis
Jay is an old sage of the industry, having served as the head professional or director of golf at some of the country’s most prestigious golf addresses. We are blessed in the North Florida Section to have Jay as a resident and member. Earlier in 2024, when faced with needing an additional instructor for a group golf school, I was told Jay might be a person I could call upon to assist. And I’m glad I did! You’ve heard of “ham and egging it?” Jay and I served up the best 7 course breakfast for the 9 golfers in that group, from a coaching standpoint. Jay is a wonderful human being, and one hell of a golf coach. I’m hoping Jay is part of future group golf schools and events my brand hosts during 2025 and beyond. But Jay is devoted to taking care of an ailing family member, and does a yeoman’s job of doing so. This Thanksgiving 2024, I thank Jay for his wisdom and participation. And provide thoughts for him and his family.
Chuck O’Connor
Chuck also answered the call this past spring when there was a need for a 3rd coach in a group setting. Chuck splits his time between Florida in the winter and Wisconsin the summer. And was available just prior to packing the truck for Wisconsin in April. Chuck has taught many group sessions for wounded warriors and adaptive golfers. And was able to put humility and grace into his approach to serving the group we taught. So much so, he is making plans to be a part of some of the group coaching opportunities in 2025 in Orlando. For Thanksgiving 2024, than you Chuck! For answering the call! And being willing to do things outside your comfort zone that will make a you a great golf coach for years to come.
Our Behind the Scenes Support Staff
Chris Siska/Siska Development
It will be 5 years this coming spring that Chris has single-handedly managed, updated, edited, and kept my website looking the best it can. All the while providing his non-golf perspective to what can be with my website. His ideas, tweaks, and sometimes professionally blunt opinion has shaped my opinions about where my brand should be heading. And how the brand should be perceived. So much so that Chris set out to create a whole new John Hughes Golf website we’ll be rolling out before the end of the year. Chris also handles my other websites, including the McLemore Golf School site, which has received a lot of attention and compliments from everyone associated with McLemore Resort. As well as the Instant Golf Improvement (more about IGI to come in 2025). Chris is a detail oriented professional leaving nothing to second guess as he makes my brand’s website one of the best in the industry. I can’ thank Chris enough this Thanksgiving 2024 for his contributions, thoroughness, and genuine care for my brand! I’m looking forward to what 2025 brings us both.
Rhett DeMille/Palmetto Soft
Once again in 2024, Rhett and his team of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) experts have successfully kept the John Hughes Golf website at the #1 listing or close to the #1 listing in Google for all our targeted campaigns, all year long. Since bringing Rhett and his team on board 3 years ago, my brand and website has experienced unprecedented growth in views, clicks, and conversions. Rhett’s calm and collected style is infectious and is most appreciated by me and the other staff members who interact with him. I also have to mention Kris Littlejohn for his painstaking approach to keeping my website at or near the top of global searches for golf coaching, at both locations. And to Lance Bastian and Christian Shaffer for writing and producing great content and press releases for the world to discover as they search for great golf coaching. This Thanksgiving 2024, I hope Rhett, Kris, Christian, and Lance are able to rest one day, and enjoy the people they surround themselves with daily! You guys are awesome!
Jimi Underwood
Wow what a year 20024 has been for Jimi Underwood! Jimi is the person who places the finishing touches into every video John Hughes Golf presents to the world. He continually sets the bar of quality and consistency higher with each video he post produces. A true expert at his craft, Jimi also imparts his artistry into numerous pieces of content you see daily on Golf Channel. But 2024 was not all video cut and paste for Jimi. Jimi and his wife Morgan welcomed Lily Ann into the world September 23, 2024. When I spoke to him last, Thanksgiving for Jimi and his wife began that day. I’m very proud and thankful for Jimi and his talents. And look forward to many more years working together to bring you and other golfers the instructional content you are asking for and deserve. Happy Thanksgiving 2024 Jimi, Morgan, and Lily Ann! Cherish every moment!
Our Partners
Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate
2024 began for me with moving to a new facility in Orlando. And once again being proud to take my clients to one of the premier golf facilities in the country, Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate. Thanks to Patrick Dill who made this possible! What started as a 4 month experiment is now the permanent Orlando home of John Hughes Golf. And I and my clients can not be happier! I’ve had some in the local and national golf communities tell me “it’s about time!” Time to experience the genuine warmth and welcome feeling the entire staff of genuine people bestow upon you when you arrive. I can not agree more, it was about time! Every time I returned home from a trip this year, staff members made it a personal point to let me know how I was missed and they were glad I had returned. The message was never scripted, always from the heart. Wow, you know how to make people feel good about themselves! And the past time we all enjoy. I can’t thank enough Patrick, Dion Muhammad, and the entire Omni ChampionsGate team for making feel part of your family! Thank you! I’m looking forward to many more years of providing that feeling to all our mutual clients and guests. I hope Thanksgiving 2024 is a warm and welcome day for everyone associated with this great golf resort.
McLemore Resort
2024 was a momentous year for McLemore Resort. From the grand opening of Cloudland Lodge in May. To the soft opening of the facility’s second golf course, The Keep, there was always something going on. I spent 6-months serving as the Resort’s Director of Instruction, assisting resort guests, members, as well as my own clientele, at the most talked about new resort in the country. Thank you to my good friend, Charlie Rymer, for believing in me to do my absolute best for the property and making every opportunity count. I also need to thank Scenic Land Company and its CEO, Duane Horton for the opportunity to represent his brand of passion. As well as the entire golf operation staff, thank you! McLemore Resort is a very special place that I look forward to returning to. I hope Thanksgiving 2024 provides the necessary reflection and envisionment of collaboration that we can both realize together.
Streamsong Resort
It’s with open arms I thank the new ownership and staff at Streamsong Resort for allowing me to continue to offer golf schools at their one of a kind golf destination! Thanksgiving 2024 is a time for both you and I to give thanks to Streamsong. And for you to take advantage of the limited opportunities available a this Top 100 golf property!
FlightScope
What can I say about FlightScope that I have not said already? A industry leading line of products for you and I to use to understand your game. Lead by the best support staff in the industry. And arguably one of the most brilliant minds in golf. Since 2010, FlightScope has continued to support me and my clients with the best data possible to understand your game. Many thanks to Henri, Madelein, Johan, Alex, Tyler, Mac, Daniel and the entire FlightScope family! For Thanksgiving 2024, I am wishing that 2025 is more of the same and a whole lot more for us both.
Callaway Golf
2024 was another banner year for Callaway. And for Callaway being a part of John Hughes Golf. More of my clients put Callaway golf products in their bag in 2024 than any other year. Thanks to the continual support of Scott Sullivan in Orlando. And Mason Kirk at McLemore Resort. I have to say goodbye to Scott, who has left the golf industry. And welcome Chris Montion as my new Callaway Rep in Orlando. I met Chris in 2017 when I visited Carlsbad, CA to earn Master Certified Fitter status with Callaway. Chris was part of the team that educated me and the others in attendance. And now he and his young family are part of the North Florida Section. I’m looking forward to a great 2025 with Chris at the helm. Happy Thanksgiving 2024 to the entire Callaway Golf family of professionals and industry leaders across the globe! Thanks for allowing me to be a small part of your success!
V1 Golf
V1 is the second longest partner of John Hughes Golf. 2024 saw a brand new coaching platform that should enhance your ability to communicate with me and the other instructors who represent the JHG brand. Look for more information about this as we get closer to 2025. Happy Thanksgiving 2024 to the entire V1 Golf family!
Donald Ross Sportswear
I can’t thank Todd Fontaine and the Donald Ross Sportswear family enough for making me look great in 2024! I’ve received a lot of compliments this year about the materials and colors of the Donald Ross apparel I wear daily. The comfort of each garment is superb. The style is a fit for me and my brand. And with cooler weather coming our way, I can’t wait to try on and wear the outerwear provided me. In layers, it has to be the warmest and most comfortable outwear I have ever worn. Being a Brand Ambassador of Donald Ross Sportswear has been a pleasure and honor for me in 2024. And I look forward to serving the brand in more exposed and productive ways in 2025. Happy Thanksgiving 2024 Todd and the Donald Ross Sportswear family! Thank you for providing me the honor of wearing your logo everyday!
Ted Odorico/Golf Tips Magazine
Another year has gone by when every second Thursday of the month I am featured as a regular guest on the Golf Talk Live podcast, hosted by Ted Odorico, Owner and publisher of Golf Tips Magazine. It has been 10 years ago we started this journey. And I’m looking forward to more in 2025. Especially with Golf Tips Magazine as one of its Top 25 Instructors. My content submissions for 2025 are in Ted’s hands and I hope you become a subscriber to the last publication in golf solely dedicated to your improvement as a golfer. Happy Thanksgiving 2024 Ted! and to the entire Golf Tips Magazine family of instructor and contributors.
Chris Mascaro/Next on the Tee Podcast
Once again in 2024, Chris Mascaro provide me the opportunity to be an instructional guest on his award winning podcast. What I did not realize is how detailed oriented Chris is with preparation, his thoroughness, and his dedication to his craft. As well as the other podcasts he creates weekly. Chris has become a consistent supporter of John Hughes Golf and of some of the people and companies represented within this year’s Thanksgiving post. I look forward to more opportunities to share my experiences and passion with Chris’ audience in 2025. And wish Chris and his family a joyous and restful Thanksgiving 2024! He’s earned and deserves both.
Club Champion
Another banner year for John Hughes Golf and Club Champion in 2024! Many of you are now regularly visiting Club Champion for your equipment needs. Understanding that the experience and knowledge you gain during a fitting is irreplaceable. And provides a positive benefit to your game. I always thank Co-Founder and former CEO Joe Lee, a good friend, with the opportunity to represent his brand as the Orlando Store Ambassador the past 10+ years. Chances are there is a Club Champion within 50 miles of where you live. And is worth every minute of the drive to experience what tour players experience, when it comes to getting fit for golf clubs. A Happy Thanksgiving 2024 to Joe, to my HQ liaison, Scott Sikorski, and the entire Club Champion Family!
Golf Live App
2024 witnessed the significant growth of the Golf Live App within my coaching practice. As well as with other coaches across the world. With new enhancements updating monthly, if not weekly, Golf Live is heads and tails the best live stream/remote coaching app available for any coaching need, Keith Scoli, John Ballou, and Allen Belden have shared quiet a few discussions with me about the future of the platform and how I can assist. And I’m looking forward to using the platform even more, and in different ways, in 2025. As I have stated in the past, Golf Live is Zoom on steroids, providing us both an opportunity to stay engaged and proactive with your improvement process. Just wait until you see what rabbit the team at Golf Live pulls out of their hat in 2025! Happy Thanksgiving 2024 to the entire Golf Live team! I looking forward to what 2025 brings to the table for all the coaches who use the platform to improve golfers around the world.
Thanks to My Family!
2024 was a year that distance, life changes, and professional growth separated me from some of my family. While reconnecting me with family that has been away for a while.
My “Extended Family”
As you may remember from 2023, I have 5 “golf” brothers from another mother.
Bob Geppert
Bob is one of those brothers. 2024 was a year that Bob realized he may have contributed all he could to the golf industry. Although he moved from the local area early in 2024, we remain close with calls every so often. Bob’s continues to live a life that allows him to move at the drop of a hat. I can’t thank Bob enough to for always knowing when to make a call at the right time. He has a an uncanny knack of doing so. His words of wisdom and encouragement are always welcome. No matter where Bob might be now, I know he is celebrating a great life with good friends over a warm non-traditional meal. Happy Thanksgiving 2024 Bob! Your presence is missed!
Thomas Troncoso
Brother #2, Thomas and Maureen live a great life in South Carolina, surrounded by family, Thomas’ #1 priority. He is teaching a lot more now and enjoying every minute of it. And with more grandchildren to attend to, his life is complete. Hopefully we can cross paths soon, typically at the PGA Show in January. If not sooner. Thanks Thomas for always being a person of perspective, objective, and truthful opinion. It is more valued than you realize by everyone you impact. I wish you, Maureen, the boys, and all the grand kids a happy and fun Thanksgiving 2024!
Steve McMillen
Brother #3 is Steve McMillen. A humble person with a fantastic financial mind. Someone the North Florida PGA Section needed. And someone North Florida will miss severely. 2024 was a year of change for Steve. Change personally, marrying Phyllis in April and spending a wonderful honeymoon in Greece. And then making a professional change of direction. Opting out of PGA Section administration and management to represent the hottest company in golf at the moment, Top Tracer. I am very proud of Steve for his patience. And his trust in people. Some of those people let him down this year. But he has found a way to persevere. I am also happy that Steve will finally get the opportunity to earn what he is worth! After serving 20+ years as a PGA of America Executive Director as well as an administrator/director of 3 different amateur associations. Thanks Steve for being the person you are and the servant you have been to many PGA Members across the country! I’m looking forward to spending more time with you in 2025 as we both allow Top Tracer to show us new ways to positively impact golfers around the world. Happy Thanksgiving 2024 Steve and Phyllis!
Jean Perpillant/JPDesignTheory.com
My 4th brother from another mother is Jean Perpillant. 2024 witnessed exponential growth of his business. In addition to his business growing, Jean positively impacted the lives of others who are not part of his company or family, serving as President of the Greater Haitian American Chamber of Commerce of Orlando. The breath of influence this group has within the local and international communities is nothing short of amazing! With his time spread thin, Jean and I caught up with each other fewer times this year. But each time was meaningful, productive, and a lot of fun. Capped off by his 5 days at McLemore Resort, helping me record content that will soon be released and featured throughout 2025. His steadfast enthusiasm and support as a trusted friend and mentor continues to fuel my tank. Thank you Jean and Nicole, for being the genuine and caring people you are! I hope Thanksgiving 2024 brings you and your family the rest you deserve!
Ed Fulford, PGA
With the move to a different location came the departure of Ed as a coach within my brand. Not my choice, but the choice of the new location, due to construction events and limited space. Ed chose at that time to retire from coaching. And spend time with his wife Lisa and his grand kids. As well as travel the world playing golf at his bucket list of golf courses. We did not speak much at all this year, just trading texts along the way. But I hope he knows and remembers his influence to my career and remembers I’m here when needed. Happy Thanksgiving 2024 Ed and Lisa! And hope that 2025 provides you more opportunities to experience the events and opportunities you worked hard to earn.
My Family
Lacey, Jarrod, MacKenzie, and Mason Councill
Another great year for Jarrod, Lacey, MacKenzie and Mason. Mason has committed to play soccer at Southern Wesleyan University in August. MacKenzie continues to kill it in the class room at Clemson, carrying on the legacy of the family attending the institution. Lacey and Jarrod are racking up miles on vehicles. And came by to visit me in Chattanooga earlier this year. In addition to their other adventures. 2024 did bring a lot of good memories for the Councill’s that will last a life time. Happy Thanksgiving 2024 Lacey, Jarrod, Mackenzie and Mason!! 2025 will be a year of empty-nesters looking for something to accomplish. And two young adults continuing their adventures in life. Love you all!
Lauren, Corey, Carson and Cayleigh Griffin
2024 saw Carson enter the first grade and Cayleigh start preschool. Giving mom some time to help John Hughes Golf even more so in 2024 than in 2023. And get back to working part-time as a pharmacy tech, a position Lauren occupied prior to the “2-C’s”. Corey is making it happen in his new professional role and always there to keep the strength and direction of where the Griffin’s are heading. Lauren’s visit to McLemore with her best friend, Jill, was a great break for me while she was there. Spending some quality time with her along the way. Lauren continues to make things happen for JHG and has continued to grow as a result. She’s not the boss yet, but getting there. Happy Thanksgiving 2024 to the Griffin’s! Rest now before Nana invades in December. Love you Lauren, Carson, Cayleigh, and Corey!
Bill, Linda, Jim
2024 was an exciting year for my siblings. Filled with world travel, family additions, and reconnecting with the past. Wish I had a more up-to-date image of us all. But since Mom and Dad leaving Bunn, NC, it is rare we all get together these days.
My brother Bill continues to live life one day at a time. Again, no recent image of him. His never ending search for serenity and inner peace continues. He moved back to our old stomping grounds on Quail Ridge Rd in Raleigh back in October. I have not heard from him in a while. No news is good news when it comes to Bill.
Linda became a grandmother in late October, when her oldest daughter Laura gave birth to a 9lb 15oz bouncing baby boy. Can you see “grandma” twinkle in her eyes?
Laura and her sister, Ann Marie, and Linda, visited me at our summer rental in Mentone, AL in September. It was a great day of doing nothing but visiting. Her and Tom’s year was full, literally full, with almost every day planed with something. So I was happy they were able to carve one day to visit. And I did get to see my nephew Peter at Laura’s baby shower in Cartersville in August. Thank you Linda and Tom, and all the McNiff’s/Wynn’s, for sharing the special moments we enjoyed this year Happy Thanksgiving 2024 to all! And hope that 2025 brings more of the same for both.
My youngest brother Jim returned to the States from Djibouti in April. And in late May he and his family, Angelita and Gabriel, paid a visit to my summer rental in Mentone, AL. While the “G-Man” soaked up the hot tub, Angelita went to work making all meals while there. She wanted to insure their vegan life style stayed in tact. And wow, what meals she prepared! The best was Jack Fruit BBQ that had me and Judy completely fooled for the real thing. Can’t wait for Angelita to make that again. In late June, Jim shipped out again, for a year, to Taiwan. With the constant ups and downs of that region, I think of him daily. And appreciate even more each day how our country’s military provides us all the things we take for granted, specifically our freedom and liberties. Having traveled overseas a couple of times myself in 2024, I can proudly state that some things can only happen in the United States! I wish more people would understand recognize this fact. And be thankful it can happen for us. Versus being full of complaints about what we experience daily being Americans. You just don’t know how good we have it. Thank you Jim for leading by example! Happy Thanksgiving 2024 to you, Angelita, Gabriel, and the girls! Hope we can catch up again in June of 2025 for a longer period to time.
Happy Thanksgiving 2024 Bill, Linda, and Jim! As well as to your families! Sharing the world with you is an honor and privilege I always respect. Love you all!
Mom and Dad
Sorry, no new pictures of Jack and Leona this year. But we did share some time along the way in 2024.
We got to see Mom and Dad at my niece’s baby shower. They were both happy with anticipation to finally meet their first great grandchild. It was a one day visit to Cartersville before they spent a week with me in Mentone. Dad and I played some golf while mom finished 2 books sitting on the deck overlooking the western bluff of Lookout Mountain. Parkinson’s is a rough disease. But dad is fighting back with all he has. “Freezing” is his biggest enemy at the moment, causing balance issues along the way. Mom still sends 14+ “good nights”, every night, to her kids and spouses, all her grand kids and spouses, and now to her great grandchild. Receiving that text each night is a simple reminder of being loved no matter what is going on in anyone’s world. As I always state, thank you Mom and Dad for loving us all for who we are. And supporting us all for what we want to be! I love you both! May 2025 bring you both more opportunities to make more memories with each other and with the entire family. Happy Thanksgiving 2024 to you both.
Jack
As I am every day, I am thankful this Thanksgiving for Jack, my 22-year old son who’s turning into one hell of a young man! No matter the time or situation, Jack is supportive, is a great listener and genuinely cares about everyone at the sacrifice of himself. We did not get to spend a lot of time together in 2024. But we made every second count. As a dad, I had to make sure he knew about the Rolling Stones when he was very little. In June of 2024, we got to share the ageless wonders in Atlanta along with his buddy Tyler. Now that young man is a trip! Making memories as my father always says. Along with golf at McLemore everyday of his visit, the 5-days sped by. Hopefully he’ll be with me again this holiday season in late December. He’s moved up the ladder at Gulf Stream. and enjoys every day doing something productive after working 10+ hours from 4am to 2pm. I’m proud of how he continually learns and grows with each passing day. And he inspires me daily to dig in and do what it takes to be there for him in all ways.
Thank you Jack for the honor and privilege of being your father! As I have been telling you since you were able to comprehend the phrase, continue to make yourself proud every waking hour of your life. Continue to inspire me and the others you touch each day. I love you buddy! And wish you a Happy Thanksgiving 2024! Hope to see you again very soon!
Judy
As always, I shared quite a few of the photos within this post of Judy and I. Those images tell the story of 2024. An exciting but up and down year for us both. Judy lost her ability to work remotely in September, forcing her back to the Celebration office each day. Until then, she was at McLemore most of the summer. Getting to share the Rolling Stones with me and Jack. And seeing her favorite, Journey, up close and personal in Atlanta in July. Thanksgiving embodies the meaning of giving thanks without entitlement, or repayment. Thanks for sharing 2024 with me, Judy! And for sharing with all the people mentioned in this post and then some! Happy Thanksgiving 2024! 2025 will be a decisive year for us both. And I Love You Too!
Always Be Thankful! Not Just One Day
Again for Thanksgiving 2024, I make my annual charge to everyone. Be thankful! Be positive! Everyday! Not just Thanksgiving!
As I always wish for you, I hope Thanksgiving 2024 and the theme of this post provides you the inspiration for the rest of your life, each and every day, to be thankful! To be positive and mindful that every person you encounter has a story to tell. When they share that story with you, be thankful they trust you with their most cherished possession, their memories. Thank them for that honor.
Just one day a year is not enough to say thank you. Now more than ever, we all need to toss away our judgmental divisiveness; the berating and belittling of others we know so little about. And be more keenly aware that the person we are attacking with our rage and irrational judgements may be just the person we need in our lives, right now! You’ll be a better human if you do.
Again in 2024, my wish is simple; for us all to be thankful every day. And to live a life that recognizes the small things that make us proud of ourselves. Only then will you lay your head to rest every night with serenity, tranquility, and peace. Knowing you thanked someone along the way who assist your personal journey.
