SUMMARY:
Beginning in May and continuing through the end of October 2024, John Hughes will serve as the Seasonal Director of Instruction at northern Georgia’s McLemore Golf Club. Having already led a number of popular and successful golf retreats at this one-of-a-kind resort, John is the ideal golf expert to fill this role and provide invaluable in-person coaching for McLemore’s guests. In addition to holding 1-to-1 and 2-to-1 golf schools at McLemore as well as larger special events, John will continue to lead his Orlando based golf instruction organization throughout the spring, summer, and fall of 2024.

John Hughes, known in the central Florida area as the President and CEO of John Hughes Golf and a very active member of the chapter, state, and national PGA, is proud to announce a closer partnership with McLemore Golf Club in 2024. Building on spring and fall golf retreats at this scenic golf resort in the mountains of Georgia over the past few years, John Hughes and McLemore are happy to expand the possibilities for coaching and instruction for those who visit the location in the 2024 golf season.
Through October 2024, John Hughes will be available at McLemore as the Seasonal Director of Instruction, leading highly personalized one-to-one and two-to-one golf schools utilizing the resort’s world-class courses and practice facilities. Each weekend John will also offer larger group schools for up to three golfers at a time, allowing golfers to not only take in the incredible scenery and great holes at McLemore, but also learn from an expert teacher.
Golfers who are considering a weekend or summer trip to McLemore will also want to check the resort’s Singer/Songwriter Concert Series schedule, with one performance each month coinciding with special golf school events. These events make McLemore a fantastic destination for folks from around the country who love great golf and great music. In addition, guests at any time can enjoy the spa, excellent dining, beautiful lodging, and of course the amazing views of the surrounding landscape from the resort’s mountaintop vantage point.
Throughout 2024, John Hughes will continue to be active in the greater Orlando area, with coaching hours scheduled each month for golfers who want to benefit from not only John’s experience and teaching skill, but also the wide range of technological aids that he and his staff of instructors use to quickly assess students’ technique and identify areas of improvement.
