I think we can call June of 2026 a “major” month for accomplishments! Our clients experienced a few “major” accomplishments. And so did the coaches. Highlighting our June 2026 Client Accomplishments post of John Hughes Golf!
Let’s celebrate the short month of accomplishments by both John’s and Michael’s clients within the June 2026 Client Accomplishments!

Michael Brunson, Winter Garden FL
We have to start the June 2026 Client Accomplishments post with a big shoutout to Michael, who experienced two major events in June. He was informed by the PGA of America that he successfully completed all the necessary requirements to become a Class A Member of the Association. And the very next day, his wife Kaitlyn gave birth to their second child, Elijah. Congratulations Michael. We’re proud of your accomplishment and very happy for you and Kaitlyn!

Jason Gabriel, Claremont, NC/Coach – John Hughes
Jason kept the pressure on the participants of the Carolinas US Am Tour with first-place finishes at the Sapona Golf Club event, the Keith Hills event, and a second-place finish at the Tanglewood event. But he was probably most proud of winning the Member/Member tournament at Lincoln Country Club with his partner/son and fellow JHG client, Atley Gabriel. Congratulations to you both! And a great June 2026 Client Accomplishments month for Jason!

Lev Grinberg, Ukraine/Coach – John Hughes
June of 2026 is the month we’ll all look back at as the time Leve made his major entrance to the golf world. First, Lev won the St. Andrews Links Trophy. This tournament and two others (The Amateur Championship and the European Amateur Championship) comprise the Open Amateur Series. Lev’s combined finishes in these events earned his spot in the 154th Open Championship at Royal Birkdale July 12-19, 2026. These finishes also catapulted Lev’s World Amateur Ranking to 46th. A milestone accomplishment. Congratulations, Lev!

John Hughes, Haines City, FL
Our namesake was inducted into the North Florida PGA Section Hall of Fame June 1.

Gaige Lewis, Springfield, MO/Coach – John Hughes
Gaige qualified for and played in the Missouri Amateur Championship, reaching the round of 16.

Joshua Pritchett, Englewood, FL/Coach – John Hughes
Josh once again was named to the Academic All Southern Conference Team

Maxx Zides, North Attleboro, MA/Coach – Michael Brunson
Maxx qualified for his first USGA Junior Championship. He’ll participate in the 78th U.S. Junior Amateur Championship to be played at Saucon Valley Country Club July 23-25. Congratulations, and best of luck, Maxx!
