A new year has dawned, 2026! And with each new year comes the opportunity for more client accomplishments! The January 2026 Client Accomplishments list proves this true.
And a new era has dawned for John Hughes Golf as well. With the addition of even more clients who are being coached by John Hughes Golf Staff Coach, Michael Brunson. Each month going forward, we’ll also be listing the client accomplishments of Michael’s clients. The January 2026 Client Accomplishments post begins a new tradition, and even more great golfers we can recognize, thank, and cheer on.

Payton Coble, Winter Garden, FL /Coach – Michael Brunson
Payton and Michael have four years invested in her game. with her latest win being on the Under Armour Junior Tour in December. And has a second win and three top 5 finishes on the tour in 2025, earning Payton a spot in the Under Armour Junior Tour’s National Finals in Palm Beach Garden’s this month.
Brady Durkin, Sylvan Lake, Alberta, Canada/Coach – Michael Brunson
With two years of hard work and multiple junior tour wins and top 5 finishes, Brady earned a full athletic scholarship to American International College in Springfield, MA
Lev Grinberg, Ukraine/Coach – John Hughes
Lev finished T12 at the Jones Cup Invitational.
Timm Rye, Davison, MI/Coach, John Hughes
Timm is a long time client of John’s, who was missing in action for the past couple years due to significant back injuries. What is Timm’s January 2026 Client Accomplishments? Just one. He returned to golf in January of 2026! No small accomplishment considering what Timm has gone through the past 20+ months. Welcome back Timm!
Maxx Zides, North Attleboro, MA/Coach – Michael Brunson
Maxx and Michael have worked together for four years. During this time, Maxx won his first ever tournament and has shot a 64 in a tournament. Currently a high school sophomore, Maxx is an all-state golfer and earned a spot on the 2026 Massachusetts State Junior Golf Team.
What About Your Golf Accomplishments?
Before we discuss how you can get into next month’s client accomplishment post. Let’s talk one more time about your 2025 golf accomplishments. It’s still not too late to let us know what you accomplished with golf in 2025. Let us know, no matter how big or small you believe your accomplishment might be. Accomplishments are not always something you did on the course. It might be like Timm, just getting back to the course is a major accomplishment. We want to know about and and all accomplishments you achieve!
Like all other posts about our clients, our January 2026 Client Accomplishments post is about the accomplishments we’re made aware. Or we find digging through the internet. It’s easier when you tell us about your accomplishments. We’d rather answer your call or read your texts and emails about your accomplishments as a golfer. But we know the vast majority of our clients’ achievements go unreported!
