McLemore Golf School Retreat

John has blocked his calendar to spend 3-weeks in temporary residency at one of the country’s best kept secrets of golf, McLemore Club, an exclusive private resort community in the mountains of Georgia.  You can join John for a McLemore golf school retreat, customized to your exact needs, between June 19, 2022 and July 9, 2022!

Choose 2 or 3 consecutive days to experience world-class coaching and instruction from John Hughes at one of the nation’s hidden gems.  During the days you’re with John, you’ll experience a Full-Day Golf School with instruction and skill improvement coaching in the morning. Lunch is included each day of your program. Following lunch, John will accompany you to the award winning McLemore Club for 9-holes of on-course coaching in the afternoon.  The Rees Jones and Bill Bergin design sits atop a plateau of Lookout Mountain in the far Northwest corner of Georgia. It’s unique location provides stunning vistas of McLemore Cove and Pigeon Mountain.  As well as canyon and parkland style golf holes that are unique all to themselves.  Not one golf hole borders another, making this a special golf experience. And at the conclusion of your coaching day with John, you can continue your round.

You can add extra rounds of golf on McLemore’s championship course.  But you can also play their 6-hole short course. McLemore’s 6-hole Short Course, called “The Cairn,” enhances enjoyment and improves your scoring skills.  It’s located above the 18th hole and beside the McLemore Clubhouse.  Use the Cairn as a warm up before a round or a relaxing cool down at the end of the day.

You choose your accommodations and how long you’ll stay to enjoy the beauty of McLemore.  You can choose to stay at a luxury villa on property at McLemore or in downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee at the Read House.  Or you can choose your own accommodations.  When you stay on property at McLemore you’ll enjoy charging privileges for additional rounds of golf, meals, or drinks.  You’ll also receive a VIP souvenir package from McLemore and John Hughes Golf.

This is a great opportunity to visit a truly special golf club and experience world class coaching and amenities, while beating the heat of the summer.  Rates for coaching include lunch each day, coaching services, and 18-holes of golf at McLemore.  Accommodation rates vary based upon the property you choose and the total room nights you desire.  Call John should you have any questions or need additional information, or need to ask for a special date request.
